First let me say I am a MASSIVE Tillie Cole fan. Everything thing she writes, I fell in love with.
Heart Recaptured is book 2 in the Hades Hangmen Series, I was blown away when IAMB came out, and was wondering how she would top it but she did.
I can't tell you how freaking AMAZING this book is. It so different from your normal MC books this blew me away. I felt everything her characters where.
This book is about Ky and Lilah. total opposites he is a man whore biker and Lilah is sweet and innocent grown up in sick cult.
This book picks up where book 1 finished, and I have to say how emotional this book was, it broke my heart for what Lilah have endured through her life and in this book. I was literally in tears.
Who would have thought such opposites would be so perfect for each other. Ky will protect Li no matter what, he has gone from not giving a crap about anyone except his brother in the MC to Lilah being his everything.
You still see Styx and Mae in this book, Mae is still adjusting to life outside in the real world and does everything she can do to help her sisters. You also see Maddie in this and you see just how Flame is protective of Maddie, but it is centered on Ky and Lilah.
How does Lilah go from believing she is evil and her beauty is evil, to learning to live in the outside world with a bunch of outlaw bikers.
Can she learn to see there is more beauty is living with rough outlaw bikers that the rubbish that has been ingrained in her over the years.
Seriously everyone must read this book.
Tillie's writing is PHENOMONAL
Amazon & USA Today Best Selling Author, Tillie Cole, is a Northern girl through and through. She originates from a place called Teesside on that little but awesomely sunny (okay I exaggerate) Isle called Great Britain. She was brought up surrounded by her English rose mother -- a farmer's daughter, her crazy Scottish father, a savagely sarcastic sister and a multitude of rescue animals and horses.
Being a scary blend of Scottish and English, Tillie embraces both cultures; her English heritage through her love of HP sauce and freshly made Yorkshire Puddings, and her Scottish which is mostly demonstrated by her frighteningly foul-mouthed episodes of pure rage and her much loved dirty jokes.
Having been born and raised as a Teesside Smoggie, Tillie, at age nineteen, moved forty miles north to the 'Toon', Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, where she attended Newcastle University and gradu-ated with a Bachelor of Arts honours degree in Religious Studies. She returned two years later to complete a Post-Graduate Certificate in Teaching High School Social Studies.
